Welcome to the Digital Credential Passport (the "Service"), owned and operated by Devoire Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. User Account Registration & Security
To utilize the Service, you must register for a Digital Passport account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your secure account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Acceptable Use of the Platform
You represent and warrant that you hold the legal right and authority to upload any certifications, state professional licenses, tax documents, or corporate agreements to your personal vault. You agree not to upload fraudulent, expired, or misrepresented credentials, or use the Service to impersonate any individual or entity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
3. SMS Notification Services & Terms
As part of our compliance onboarding features, users can opt-in to receive transaction-based SMS alerts (such as expiration reminders or document status updates) and friendly manual notifications from their registered B2B agencies.
- Opt-In Consent: By checking the "Enable SMS Notifications" setting within your active compliance checklists, you provide your explicit consent to receive automated messages to the mobile number associated with your profile.
- Opt-Out: You can opt-out of mobile alerts at any time by updating your account settings, or by replying STOP to any message received. You will receive one final text confirming your unsubscription.
- Assistance: Reply HELP to any message for system support instructions, or contact us at tlaw@devoiretechnologies.com.
- Messaging Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Data Sharing: In accordance with our Privacy Policy, mobile opt-in data and consent are strictly confidential and will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Electronic Signatures & Document Stamping
The Service includes capabilities allowing you to execute legal agreements and patient privacy pledges electronically. By typing your full name and checking the consent box on e-sign templates, you agree that your electronic signature represents your legally binding consent under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and equivalent state legislation.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Service Availability: The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While Devoire Technologies employs industry-standard security measures and encrypted repositories to protect your data, we do not warrant that the Service will be completely uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely immune to unauthorized access. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Audit Limitations: Visual verification and audit approvals performed via the Service are limited strictly to matching extracted document metadata against user-provided database records. These verifications do not constitute formal legal underwriting, validation, or authentication of the underlying physical document's legal validity.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Devoire Technologies and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
6. Governing Law & Contact Information
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
